Onion Days in Payson Utah

Ever since I can remember, it has been a tradition to attend the Onion Day Parade, in Payson, Utah on Labor Day. Here are a few photos from the fun day.

Motherhood: Roses and Thorns

Every once in a while, I feel like laughing,
Every once in a while, I feel like playing,
When I see her smiling face.

Every once in a while, I feel like crying.
Every once in a while, I feel like giving up,
But as I sit behind a shut door, little fingers wriggle neath the door.

Nock. Nock. "Momma." Momma."

I quickly wipe the tears away and remember I can be her mother because Heavenly Father entrusted me with his precious child.

Being alive and having the privilege to serve as a mother is a wonderful gift. My sister-in-law shared this special message and hope it brings loving joy on this very special Mother's Day.

Lots of Love,

Shauna

American Stroke Association

Hello family, Abby is participating in a fund raiser to benefit the American Heart/American Stroke Association. I have included a link for you to visit if you would like to make a donation and help her reach her goal of $50. If you see that her goal has been met, you may still donate. I think it would be exciting for her to see how much she can make. Of course we understand if you are not able to donate, so please do not feel obligated.
